Photoblogging Houston: Sugar Land Town Square

More pictures from my brief trip home last week. My sister and I went to town square to check on its progress. still a lot of construction. I’ve always lamented how my entire life–at times–it has felt like Houston is one big, endless construction site.

Stephen F. Austin, President of the Republic of Texas, saving a drowning horse?

Since my sister put a Nazi-esque picture of me on her website, I don’t feel bad about putting this picture of her on mine.

Row after row of fat suburbans dining. Trust me; the close up would have been too scary. (Note: if you are in this picture and offended by my caption, take no harm, laugh it off, and get on a diet!)

If you squint your eyes really hard, you can almost believe the ground is actually hilly and that the low-lying clouds are actually snow-capped mountains. really hard.

Moving on up: First Colony Mall, when I was last there, is really starting to upscale towards those $100k/yr-own-a-4/2.5-with-two-car-garage-types that think they’re rich but don’t know what wealth is. Still doesn’t hold a candle to the Galleria.

That is all.
