Like a friend of mine recently said, “I get it; Obama’s black.” I can understand the flurry of excitement and the historic proportions of our last presidential election (though this administration may well be remembered as historic not for the color of its officiant’s skin, but rather for crossing the event horizon into a black hole of debt that even America could not overcome), however the sheer amount of Obama propaganda I am bombarded with daily has become overwhelming. Obama’s face has become as ubiquitous as Stalin’s.
Even Facebook is no longer safe. Every time I log on, I am blasted by side banner ads advertising my ‘Obama Check’. Per l’amor del cielo, make it stop.
Seriously, I can tell we are in for a bad presidency.
This is too funny. I officially love this woman. She totally misses the point on why I don’t think Obama is the best choice to lead our nation, but I love her passion nonetheless.
SEATTLE–Last night as I got out of my car and walked into the local Thriftway I noticed a man holding a sign getting into a heated debate with another man. Presuming the man to be some Obama-supporting, Change-We-Can-Believe-In, Save-Puget-Sound-but-really-the-money-goes-towards-funding-the-PAC-itself-and-its-bloated-bureaucracy, Help-The-Democrats-Take-Back-The-White-House, or insert-miscellaneous-misguided-liberal-so-called-progressive-organization-here member I began to lament his presence mentally but then glanced out of the corner of my eye and saw he was collecting signatures to STOP THE SEATTLE PLASTIC BAG TAX.
(Disclaimer: Though hardly a Democrat, I will likely be voting for Obama this fall. Or maybe Ron Paul. I don’t know. And Bobby Hadley has no problem with Democrats; just PACs which fatten their purses under the guise of purporting further their respective causes)
